Welcome to the terms and conditions ("Terms") for Seattle Coffee Works Coffee Works Club (“CWC”). These Terms are between you and Seattle Coffee Works and/or its affiliates ("Seattle Coffee Works" or "Us" or “SCW”). By joining the CWC, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms. Use of SeattleCoffeeWorks.com and your CWC membership are also governed by the SCW Privacy Policy and SCW Return Policy, as well as all other applicable terms, conditions, and limitations as required by law, and are incorporated into these Terms.

Fees and Renewal

The CWC fee is an annual membership offering the benefits as listed in the CWC product page. At our discretion, membership Terms, and fees may vary for renewal. The CWC membership fee is non-refundable. Taxes may apply on either or both of the membership fee and the reduced shipping charges for CWC.

If you sign up for your CWC membership through us and are billed by us, then the billing terms described below will apply to your membership.

Your membership is on an automatic renewal basis. You must notify us before the annual charge that you want to cancel or do not want to automatically renew. If you neglect to notify us prior to your renewal, you understand your CWC membership will automatically renew and you authorize us to collect the annual membership fee and any taxes, using any eligible payment method we have on record for you. If the eligible payment methods on file are declined, you must provide us a new eligible payment method promptly or your membership will be cancelled. Once payment is approved, your CWC period will be based on the original renewal date.

Membership Cancellation

You may cancel your CWC membership any time by visiting ‘Your Account’ and adjusting your membership settings or by emailing Service@SeattleCoffeeWorks.com and requesting cancellation. Once purchased, CWC is non-refundable for your initial annual fee. If you received your CWC membership through a third party, you may need to contact the third party to cancel your membership. CWC memberships redeemed through a CWC gift code or promotional code are not refundable. All CWC memberships are on an automatic yearly renewal cycle.

Shipping Benefits and Eligible Purchases

CWC Shipping Benefits depend upon inventory availability, order deadlines, and, in some cases, the shipping address. These shipping benefits are limited to specified items on the SeattleCoffeeWorks.com website. Products not eligible for CWC shipping will be designated at checkout. Some special products, orders, handling fees, and/or taxes may still apply to eligible purchases. If only some items in your order are eligible for CWC shipping, you will pay applicable shipping charges for the ineligible items. Changing or combining orders, or changing your shipping address, speed, or preferences might affect CWC shipping. Certain purchases may only be entitled to Standard Shipping because of their size, weight, and other shipping characteristics.

We may exclude products with special shipping characteristics at our discretion. Specific information about shipping cost, shipping speed, and shipping destinations are noted below:

    • Addresses in Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico (3-7 business days).
    • P.O. Boxes in the continental U.S.
    • APO/FPO addresses with U.S. ZIP codes.

Ineligible

    • CWC-ineligible items
    • International destinations.

In-Store Pickup Benefits and Eligible Purchases

CWC In-Store Pickup Benefits of a 20% discount on individual purchases of coffee beans up to $100 are dependent upon inventory availability, order deadlines, and cafe delivery schedules, as determined by order dates and roast dates. These benefits are limited to coffee beans pre-ordered on the SeattleCoffeeWorks.com website for in-store pickup. Any products not eligible for CWC benefits will be designated at checkout. Some special products, orders, handling fees, and/or taxes may still apply to eligible purchases. Changing or combining orders, or changing your pickup cafe location might affect CWC benefit.

Our Roast Days are Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. All orders must be received by 6am on Roast Days for delivery on the following morning in your chosen cafe. All orders received after 6am on Fridays will be roasted on the subsequent Monday and available for pickup on the following Tuesday in the chosen cafe. Pickup times cannot be requested outside of normal business hours.

We will hold your coffee for seven days to be picked up. After that, your coffee will be returned to our Roastery and your account will be refunded. We reserved the right to cancel your CWC if you repeatedly do not pick up your coffee.

Additional Member Invitation

As a CWC member, you are able to invite one additional household to receive membership benefits free of further charge. Please send us an email to Service@SeattleCoffeeWorks.com and include their name and email address. We will send a private link for them to sign up for membership benefits under your CWC. This invitation is valid for two weeks from the date of invitation. Once they are included in your CWC membership benefits, no further households may be added for your annual renewal. They will be automatically renewed with your CWC annual automatic renewal. If they decline the invitation after two weeks, you are eligible to include another unique household.

Other Limitations

• We reserve the right to accept or refuse membership at our discretion.

We will include you on our newsletter emails related to SCW, and your CWC membership. To opt out of emails, please do so in ‘Your Account’.

You may not transfer or assign your CWC membership or any CWC benefits, including promotion codes for CWC memberships or benefits, except as allowed in these terms.

CWC members are not permitted to use their benefits to purchase products for the purpose of resale, rental, or to ship to their customers or potential customers.

Some CWC benefits may require certain purchase thresholds, have quantity or shipping address limitations, or require members to meet specified criteria in order to access them.

At our discretion, SCW may add or remove CWC membership benefits.

    Agreement Changes

    We may change these Terms, SeattleCoffeeWorks.com’s Terms and Conditions and Privacy Notice, or any aspect of CWC membership, without notice to you. If any change to these terms is found invalid, void, or for any reason unenforceable, that change is severable and does not affect the validity and enforceability of any remaining changes or conditions. Your continued membership after we change these terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree to any changes, you must cancel your membership.

    Termination by Us

    We may terminate your CWC membership at our discretion without notice. If we do so, we will give you a prorated refund based on the number of full months remaining in your membership. However, we will not give any refund for termination related to conduct that we determine, in our discretion, violates these Terms or any applicable law, involves fraud or misuse of the CWC membership, or is harmful to our interests or another user. Our failure to insist upon or enforce your strict compliance with these Terms will not constitute a waiver of any of our rights.

    Limitation of Liability

    In addition to other limitations and exclusions in our Terms and Conditions, our total liability, whether in contract, warranty, tort (including negligence) or otherwise, will not exceed the last membership fee you paid. This limitation of liability will apply to the fullest extent permitted by law and will survive cancellation or termination of your CWC membership.
