
Sonora Estate is one of our happy places. Our Green Coffee Buying team has spent many nights over the years drinking cervesas and communing with Alberto Guardia and his son Diego. They are the perfect coffee producing team and together they process many different excellent varieties. Their success comes from Alberto's cleanliness and expertise in sorting. The mill at Sonora Estate is the cleanest mill we have ever been to, it gets meticulously cleaned after every processing day and each batch is expertly watched by the team from beginning to end.
Alberto and Diego have invested a lot of their profits into expanding their operation, purchasing larger drying machines, color sorters, and logistics materials. These may not seem important but when scaling a coffee farm from small to medium volumes these are the processes that help a coffee farm grow.
